Hello Kentucky family, My family and I are in need of some prayers...My son who is 17, was robbed by gun point, 1 block from out house Saturday around 9:00 pm. He is devistated, and scared to do anything now. They got a whole 1.83 and a cell phone. Please pray that he bounces back from this. Thanks, Missy

Thanks Dawn, I am meeting with the police and teachers and counselors everyday, things seem to be getting better, he is still sleeping upstairs instead of his room, hopefully things will start to get better soon. Thanks Missy

That poor boy. I will be praying for him. I hope they can catch who did it some how. I am really surpised they took the cell so it might be able to help track the person. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Try to see if he will agree to seeing a psychologist.

Just a lil note to warn all pre and post ops. GET YOUR PROTEIN IN EVERYDAY!!! I have done rather crappy with mine since day 1 and I am paying dearly with VERY slow weight loss, major hair loss, and all out feelin like shit! PLEASE!!!! Follow your program's rules!!

Thank goodness he's physically fine!! You and your family are certainly in my prayers. I wish there was something more I could do for you. Does he have someone he can talk to? A therapist, pastor or maybe school counselor? Google some info on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for symptoms/issues just to be safe. There are specific symptoms you can be keeping an eye out for.

Thanks so much, Things are getting somewhat better, he talked to the pediatrician yesterday, he actually took zack to lunch alone to spend some good quality time talking, and it seemed to help. Thanks for your prayers. Missy

just thank the Lord that he didn't try to fight back, and that he is safe. That had to be a scary time for him. it isn't even safe to go outside anymore, I don't know what this world is coming to. I will say a prayer for him.
