OT:I'm going to puke

I am nauseous. James has a girlfriend. He was talking to her on yahoo. He asked me, "Mom, how do u spell Hey Babe" My 14 yr old wants to call some girl BABE? What is that? Then I walk by the computer just passing thru and she types Hi Baby... Ewwww this is too gross. My 14 yr old should not have a girlfriend and be saying baby and stuff. I told Adam and he wouldn't even wake up. Its ridiculous. Her name is Noelle, pretty name but I'm not ready for this stuff. Adam has already had to have a talk  with James. Last year his mom got him a cell phone. He started calling 900 #'s and having phone stuff. Her bill was over $800. Needless to say he got his cell taken away. When he gets online here its approved stuff only. Of course, Adam looks at the kinky stuff. This just grosses me out. I was not even thinking of calling some guy baby when I was 14, ok, maybe I was thinking it but good grief. He's growing up too fast. I think I'll call his mom so us mom's can cry on each other, she'll probably laugh her butt off at me. It just freaked me out. Baby. Heck, Adam doesn't even call me baby. He wouldn't know romance if  it bit his butt. Just thought I'd share, my kid's calling some girl baby? U know, a few weeks ago I thought it was cute that Allison had a litte boyfriend in Kindergarten. Now I'm thinking I don't think so. Its not so cute with James!

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF MOTHER'S WITH TEENAGE SONS!!! MY SON IS 18 AND IS JUST NOW , WELL FOR THE LAST 8 MONTHS BEEN STRESSING ME OUT, AND HE IS IN COLLEGE, ALWAYS FIGHTING WITH HIS SO CALLED GIRLFRIEND.  THEN HE GETS MAD IF i AM NOT ALL FRIENDLY AND HAPPY TO SEE HER, WHICH I'M NOT, SHE IS RUINING HIS LIFE AND HIS CHANCE AND COLLEGE, HE CAN'T DO HIS WORK FOR DOING HERS, OR ARGUING, OR BEING GONE WITH HER.  MY 20 YEAR OLD IS SO MUCH BETTER, NO PROBLEM OUT OF HIM AT ALL, WHERE DID I GO WRONG WITH THE LAST ONE???     GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR 14 YEAR OLD, HOPEFULLY IT WILL GET EASIER, MINE JUST STARTED LATER, HAHA.

My 22 yr old brother and his gf are doing the same thing. They have a love/hate thing going and have for the past 7 yrs maybe? It drives us all nuts. They have a 3 yr old daughter and are expecting daughter #2 in March....

yep I have a well will be 16 year old Friday Feb 1 ,but thank God he does not want anything to do with girls yet but I know my time is comming soon because he is 6 feet tall & prob 130 & of cource I think he is so handsome  so I know my time is comming ,poor moms that have to go thru teen agers years lol Good luck

Thanks lol, I guess its just hard to see them grow up even if he's not "mine" technically...His mom and I had a good chuckle of the Babe thing last night. I called her when he went to bed.

I feel your pain. Mine is 15 and is in his first half way serious "relationship". I just look at it this way...they are young and the chances of it developing into more are slim. Now with that being said, I met my husband when I was 14, dated him for 3 years, didn't date him for a year, got back with him for a year and then married him. Yikes.

Angela, I hate to tell ya this but its pretty much in the norm. I met my ex when I was 14.... we had all sorts of cheesy pet names for each other. Our relationship lasted 8 years before we got married and the marriage lasted roughly 5 years. I understand why it bothers you... but keep in mind It could be much much worse.

Hi Ang, if this is all he is doing ,i wouldn't worry. But I have a 12 yr going to be 13 soon. And she has had like 7 boyfriends and 2 kisses on the cheek lol. These kids are so serious these days. Sometimes we need to be concerned. With my daughter i am so concerned.I just keep thinkin so many kids having kids. I meet my hubby when i was 14 dated him 6yrs then i married him. We've been married 12 yrs. And i was the one that had a baby before marriage in my family. But i love my hubby and daughter and if you raise him as a young man when you have him,he will have family values.Well thats my 2 cents worth............Ttyl.                                                                   Vickie R.
