My surgery is Monday morning!
Hi Jill!
I wish you all the best as you are about to begin this amazing journey. It's been 14 months since I had my surgery and I'm so glad I had it. Never have I regretted it. I've certainly had my ups and downs....but definitely more ups than downs! I have my life back......I'm living again.
Just do what Dr. Sonnanstine and the nurses tell you to do.....you're in VERY capable hands. They'll take good care of you. Make sure to get up and walk, walk, walk at the hospital. I didn't believe Dr. Sonnanstine when he said I'd feel better by walking at the hospital.....but he was right. I felt much better once I got up and started moving around.
All the best to you....and I'll save you a spot on the loser's bench!
