I had to share this news..

I rarely post personal stuff on the board as it's just not my way..but this is exciting news.. and I wanted Dr. Tom's patients who will be at the Monday night class to know incase I am not present. My daughter is pregnant but not due until around Valentine's day..however.  She is having some B/P issues ..today she went to the doc, they would have induced her but the baby had not dropped enough..Monday they are going to put the baby on a monitor, this weekend she has to do a 24 hr. urine for protein and stay on complete bedrest..that's not going to be easy for her. anyway, I am taking her in on Monday since her hubby has to work and wants to save all his off time for the big day and after..they may induce if he has dropped..if not they may do a c-section..(she is worried hubby won't make it in time...boy does this girl have a lot to learn about labor...lol..hours and hours some times) so keep us in your thoughts..I will send the doc and or Chris a message to let you know ... can't wait to have that little boy in my arms! I am soooo excited!!!! Brenda

thanks everyone...she has been here all day and evening.  She is not going to do well with being off work, she was so bored, but laid on the couch watching TV..I see her at least 2 -3 days a week..hadn't seen her since Tues and I can't believe how big she has gotten..Oh my word!! she had to go out and buy a couple of new tops because none of her maternity tops fit her just this week...man I have a feeling we are gonna have a big boy, she had gained 30 lbs and I would almost bet 10 of it is water...She is hoping for a 20 lb baby..LOL.. I will keep ya'all posted!!

awwww..my daughter in law had a girl on Oct 21st..Ava Gabriele.  She is so cute and sweet... I want to see her so bad but won't leave my daughter..she's in Miami..  had her here for Christmas for two weeks, she was changing by the minute and growing so quickly... good luck with your new grandbaby, let us know!!

Good luck Brenda.  Will keep her in my prayers.  If she is having BP issues that big burst of growth could be water.  When they say BEDREST they mean it.  I thought I could sit at the computer. and stuff.  Boy was I wrong.Keep her down.   Jane

I know Jane...it's difficult to keep her down..but yesterday she laid on the couch all day and watched TV..She told her dad she would go out to the barn with him to see her horse..we both jumped her so she said..ok ok..jesshhh  lol she is wearing flip flops..she can't wear shoes at all and socks cut off her circulation.  Only one thing is going to help her now..having the baby!!
