Dr. Ben Tanner (Louisville, KY)

Hi, I just completed my visit with a dietician,nurse, and psych evaulation at Nortons Bariatric yesterday.  Now I am just waiting on Dr. Ben Tanner's office to contact me.  I would love to hear from any of you who have been a patient of Ben Tanner.  Also, if you have had Jeffery Allen, Rodriquez, etc, how long was the process after your initial meeting with the surgeon?  What all were you required to do prior to surgery.  Any information is greatly appreciated.  Thanks

My friend had her Lap Band placed by Dr Tanner in December and had nothing but great things to say about him.  In fact, I am seriously considering him as my surgeon.

Hey there, I have Dr. Tanner also.  My consult is Feb. 1.  It took them 2 weeks to call me for an appointment.  I forgot the lady's name who called to schedule me, but she was really nice.  She actually said she had like 80 people to schedule consults with Tanner.  I guess January is a busy month.  I will post here after my appt. to let you guys no how it goes.  good luck Pam

Well I just wanted to let you know that I was half way to Louisville on Friday and got a call from Dr. Tanner's office telling me that I would have to call back on Monday to reschedule my appt. because he had an emergency surgery.  Great.  I called back this morning and they can't even get me back in until the 15th.  Appartently he is only there on Fridays.  So I hope you aren't in a big hurry.  Maybe you have had better luck.  I am getting a little impatient.  I will keep you posted if I ever get to meet him. .... Oh that $ucks!  I am still waiting to hear from them to call and set up my appt.  I was told that Norton's released my name/file to them on last Tuesday, but still haven't heard anything.  I left a message with Ladonna yesterday (hopefully she will call today).  I understand what you mean by impatient, I am a little scared but so ready to get it over with.  Please keep me posted!  I'll do the same with you
