reminder of the bariatric workshops

Hey ya'all..I just wanted to remind you that Tristate Surgical Weight Loss Center is having their 2nd annual event on May 31st.  I sent Taryn an email and ask for a phone number for anyone who wants to sign up, so I will get that info soon to post. Remember you do not have to be a patient of Dr. Sonnanstine, if you are a post op this is a great place to learn.  if you are pre-op this is also a great place to gain information and find out more about the surgery. If you are just searching and want to meet folks who have had the surgery, sit in some awesome educational and motivational classes..this is the place. there will be drawing and door prizes, and another fashion show...so if you are interested, just send me an email... by the way, this is a free event!!!! Where does the event take place, is it a 1 day event can you give more details?

The event will take place on a Saturday, May 31st.  from 8-4pm...I don't have all the details because Taryn is still working on them.  I just wanted to post so you guys are aware, because the event is free the seating is limited.   So keep watching for updated information!!! Brenda

I will be there.  I had a wonderful time last year and wouldn't miss it for anything.  Hope its a huge success.  There was so much information.  Just a great social event also.  Dr. Tom does such a great job and it amazes me how much time he gives us after our surgery.  We truely are committed to him for life and he is truely committed to us. I would love to.  Maybe thats a new calling.  But I would volunteer where ever is needed.   Jane

Put me down Brenda!  Last year I attended as a pre-op patient, and this year I will attend as a post-op patient.  I really enjoyed it last year!!  I met so many great people and found the speakers, as well as the venders to be very informative.  Jane, you looked so nice in the fashion show!     Maureen
