Love your opinion of Dr. Allen????? Louisville

I'm thinking of choosing him as my surgeon. I'd love some input if anyone here has had him. Thanks a bunch, Sandi

Doctor Allen is great.  He is very kind and caring.  Even with as busy as he gets, if u have a question he will stop and answer.  He has certain tests he wants done for himself but also for insurance but its not that bad and tends to go by fast.

Some of the staff may get on ur nerves but thats anywhere so dont let them put u off.

I had Dr. Allen and he is fantastic!  Super nice guy and knows his stuff.  Can't say the same about some of the staff (especially some that handle the insurance process). 

I love Dr Allen!!!!! Hes worth the wait. I think he knows his business  I think he was the first here to ever do lap bands. I am so happy I have hime.  Good Luck

I've only met him once, my husband and I liked him, he'll be doing surgery. he did lapband for a friend and she loves him. The office staff is anotehr thing, especially the insurance handler. I keep trying to enquire about my insurance and she does not return calls it seems. Although her recording says she will within 24 hours.  Don't beleive it. I have no idea how to get a real person there.

I love Dr Allen. he is so patient and caring and does have a good sense of humor! I was absolutely petrified of all of this, but he explained alot to me and makes sure that your questions are answered to your satisfaction and not just dismissed. As for his office staff....your patience will be tested and persistance is the key. I called daily until they finally got sick of me and talked with me.  Don't let them detour you though. He is doing the surgery ...not them.
