to God be the glory - I'm APPROVED!

I don't post often, but lurk daily.  I wanted to share with you all how good God is. 

If you see my "member date" you will notice that I have been here at OH exploring and researching WLS since 2004.  For 2007 benefits my company removed its exclusion on one of our two policies, but I didn't find out until after open enrollment.  And of course, I was on the wrong plan.  I switched at open enrollment this year and paid out of pocket for my surgeon consultation and program fees.  This allowed me to get all of my testing and prework done before the first of the year when the new plan kicked in.  On January 4th my file was faxed over to the insurance company and two working days later I got the call. 

I am so blessed to have a chance at a new life.  I can't wait to walk in the vessel God intended for me.  He chose to bless me even though I have sinned against this body and let it get to the point it is today.  What a forgiving and awesome God!

My message to all of you who are struggling with an exclusion, a denial or waiting to hear from the insurance company:  Hold out.  Continue to give praise and do God's work.  He keeps all of his promises and will bless you like he's blessed me - in His time, not ours.
