GOT APPROVED FOR SURGERY TODAY!!

Add one more person the Jan. 8th approval list.  I got approved today too.

I'm not at all nervous now...but I'm sure I will be as the time draws closer.  No worries... I'm in four good hands... God's and a skilled surgeon's.

Congratulations! My pre-op day was about 4 to 5 hours long so just in case you should bring you something to snack on and something to drink or find a place to get something.....I was starving by the time I got home - something I never am now since surgery! Surgery for me lasted 2.5 hrs. I believe and I had rny. Dunno what your doctor will say about the weight gain mine didn't have any problem with my weight gained....I gained 10 lbs. before surgery getting in all those last meals...lol Good luck to you!

I want to thank everyone for your replys, I am excited, happy, a litle scared, I am almost 44 and I started checking into weight loss surgery when I was 18, about 7 years ago, I was turned down for surgery in Columbus Ohio, it was the insurance company of course, aetna.    I am going Tuesday for my pre-op class, said it would last about 3.5 hours, I am so looking forward to losing weight, playing with my neice and nephew, cleaning house without stopping,   I would have thanked you all earlier, but I have been out of town, I went to visit my cousin that has breast cancer, she isn't doing well at all. please everyone pray for her, she really needs all the prayers she can get. thank you Lisa
