I hate Jefferson Co(Louisville) Schools!

I have to rant and I hope you all don't mind. I know that most of you are not in Louisville but those who are can probably relate. I got a phone call today from my daughter's school telling me that when she starts back to school in the new year she will have to go someplace else! I have had her enrolled since 6th grade in Noe Middle School under her father's address because our home school is horrible. Also as I have gotten sicker over the last year she has stayed at her grandmas who lives across the street from her dad and she takes her to school and picks her up. My ex and I also have joint custody.

I ask the lady if couldn't I just get a hardship transfer and she said yes but not to go to Noe because there is no room for her there.....duh....So I ask how is that possible because when she is withdrawn there will be a vacancy and she said that since they were overpopulated they didn't have room for her.....isn't that a load of crap?? Now in the middle of the year I have to find another school for her to go to that will accept a hardship transfer because I won't send her to Southern. On top of everything else she will be having spine surgery sometime after the new year and it makes no sense to me to transfer her to another school and then take her out of that school to have surgery when Noe already is aware of her conditions. I am just so mad about this!! I don't know where to send her or what I am going to do, why in the world would they spring this on me the day before surgery? I can't even call the board because I will be out of it!! I just don't know what to do. Anyone have a suggestion?

I did wonder about homeschooling for anyone who does it is their programs I can involve her in that will teach her directly like on the net instead of me doing it? I am not the smartest tool in the toolshed and half the time I don't even understand her homework:(

Hi, Call the van hoose center  and ask for student personal for Noe middle school . They can help you with a hardship to Noe.

what about online school at valley high school? Two girls I know took there kids there for it last year but I dont know the cir****tances... sorry they did this too u!! good luck tomm
