I need a job I have good clerical skills as thats all I have been doing for 8 years and before that it was small time bookkeeping. I feel Like I have applied every where.
Can someone help me! I have went to the state sites and career site I think they are going to start calling me by my first name soon.

Unfortunately, a lot of jobs are leaving the Lexington area. Lexmark has already pulled out 1000 jobs and my Dh talked to his old boss from there and he told him they're even laying him off in 2 years. There is also a rumor IBM is going to be pulling out, but again, it's a rumor. Basically, the market for employment here is drying up.
Have you thought about going through a temp agency? This is how my husband supported us when we first came to Ky and it wasn't the best of pay, but it worked to pay the bills. Plus, there are also the hospitals, try going to their websites directly and see what they may have open for employment.
I wish you the best of luck. I am sorry you're having so much trouble with finding work, but it's a lot more troubling than Americans consider, or if anything, acknowledge.
