I had my first fill this morning with Dr. Shina..   It was a breeze!!!!

 Sadonna I figure it can't be any worse then giving myself shots in the stomach!!  How much did he put in and how are you feeling so far?

Im more worried about getting too tight for some reason!!

Well I dont know how much he put in...  It was a little crazy alot of people in the room and I got back in xray late because registration was just so slow and busy!!!  So anyway I for got to ask...  I am going to call this morning and find out.  

I did find out the kind of band I have its the... APS  and it holds 10cc.

The cleanning agent he uses in your belly will make you look like a blueberry...lol

 

But you can see the fill on the screen and watch as the fluid goes through or doesnt go through if thats the case.   He will adjust the band accordingly.     Very COOL!!!

      Sadonna farms, I got my fill today and I can tell it!! My protein drink took awhile to go down.. I kinda like it a lil looser than this. Kinda scares me. He told me to start over from day1!! 2 weeks crystal light and protein drinks. 2 weeks on broth, then start mushies 2 weeks. at 6 weeks I can have solids... Wow was that a shock to my brain!! but after it taking so long to drink a protein drink I dont think Im gonna mond the 2 week liquid thing at all!!!         it was a weird experience!! He doesn't think I should need a fill for awhile so thats good!!! How do you feel today?  dawn

I didnt feel tight at all yesterday or hungry.  Today I felt hungry when I got up but after drinking about a 1/4 of a glass of crystal light, I feel very water logged(for lack of a better word).  I have only drank about 2 full glass of crystal light today and it took me all day so far to drink it.

I got the same diet you got.

Hi Dawn,   Thanks for your concern, Unfortunatly  Dr Shina cant do my scope until Saturday, so its another week of work I have missed, Holly said if it gets to bad to go to the E.R...you know how I feel about that, I am hanging in there. I have to be at Suburban at 9:30 saturday. I will let you know how that goes..Thanks again for your concern. Missy

Girl, I was getting worried.  Did your 8 year old have a good halloween? I hope you have FMLA at your work,   hope your scope is quick and painless.   Dawn

Like i said before, thank you so much for your concern, Yeah My friend took my daughter trick or treating for me, she had fun...bad news is no FMLA... I will survive. I have lost 12 lbs since the meeting last week, but not the way I wanted to loose it. I will keep u up to date,,thanks again.

Sadonna how are you feeling today? I feel icky and tired.

I have had two four or so ounce protein drinks and barely 20 oz water, and that's with being up since 430am.

Hopefully tomm will be better..
