OH My how time goes by so quickly. Today is my 2 yr wls anniv. I can remember how scared i was to leave my family and go to the hospital. I was the one that thought i would die and never see my hubby or daughter ever again. That was a scary thought. But as i reflect on the last 2 yrs i have had so many ups and downs. I would do this agian in a heartbeat. I never thought i was gonna be sitting here at 130lbs after being on a feeding tube having 10 blockages and a hernia. And those darn ulcers. But here i am, growing and being the best i can be. I know that so many of us get off track and slip up. I am one of these also. I have cheated with this surgery. I have dumped on pies, cookies, cakes and all. But i just jump back on the wagon. You no i thought this was an easy way,but let me say its not. You have to be strong. You still have to eat right, and exercise. I would like to thank the Ky board for always being here for me and checkin on me. I love you guys..............but im here for anyone that has questions or needs help to get ready for wls im here. I have posted new pics of me and my family.......................Vickie R.

Yea Vickie,  Its not been easy for you.  You have been in my prayers.  I am glad things seem to be looking up.  My two year was on the 17th.  I spent it on the Beach, Siesta key beach in Florida.  My life too is so diffrent.  I have changed so much.  Not really changed just let the scared little girl out to play.  I have done things I never did in my entire life.  Like you every day is a reminder of where I have been.  I too have fell off the wagon but its a lot easier to get on track now rather than 100lbs over.  Then its too late.  Just wanted to say HI and Congrats.  The Oct 05 board is dead all the time.  I know everyone is just busy take care Jane

It is so good to see you have regained some weight and that you are feeling alot better. My anniversary was the 19th and I feel better each and every day. I am able to eat alot more than before but that is something I need to work through in order to keep being successful. I am so happy to be able to walk a mile and still have energy to do steps. Take care and good job.
