FT Campbell & Blanchfield Army Hospital

I am at the very beginning of this process I was wondering if any one could tell me what to expect at all my different appointments. I am extremely nervous and feel it would help me a whole lot if I new. Its like going to a job interview that you know your not going to get because we all know skinny people don't like us. I have my 1st appointment with the surgeon for a evaluation on November 6th.

I can promise you its not like that  You will go in your first appointment and meet your surgeon ,Do you know who he is yet ? I had Dr Sanborn , He is soooo great   and very kind  and nonjudgemental (not to mention he has the most beautiful eyes ive ever seen in my life). he will send you for bloodwork EKG and set you up an appt for an endescopy and you will have to get an appointment with the dietition .And you should start coming to the support group on post it helps answer alot of questions about before and after surgery . I started my process at gateway and tricare denied me so I went on post and had my surgery two weeks later .No Regrets ! I sent you a message feel free to email me anytime Best wishes, Pam
