Soooooo

So I went to my doctor today and she is making me do a pre diet before she gives me a letter of medical necessity. She is having me take Xenical and write down everything I eat for 2 wks. I am so afraid she isnt going to give me a letter for my insurance. Anyone else have problems with their doctors like this?

Hi Olivia-My insurance REQUIRED the 6 month weight "monitoring" from my PCP.  She put me on the Xenical  in July, she said I could try it, but she didn't think it would be successful.  She was right.  Only a very small percentage of people are successful on this stuff, and the side effects are NOT pleasant.  Just follow her orders, it's just 2 weeks so hang in there.  But read about the Xenical and side effects, and be prepared.  Good Luck!
