calling Dc allens patients

I have had nothing but problems out of his new insurance gal!!!! GOd she makes me soo MAAADDDDD Heres the story On aug 24 i met allen for the first time. He is very sweet!! LOVE HIM! So he gave me a list of tests I needed, and only marked 2...one for my cardio and one for my note saying im not on drugs and dont smoke or drink.  So..I imm. go and give this to my PCP.  He askes me which I need...and I said I didnt now..allen just said to get those done.  I had to call back and ask, so I did.  I was transphured to this girl who just started like..2 weeks earlier.  I told her I needed to now which i needed becasue allen said to get only what was marked.  She said I needed everything on the list.  I said why...she said becasue she nows what IN med. needs or whats and that is what I need.  I said that if its not documented or needed, medicaid will no cover it.  she refussed and said I had to get it all.  I hung up and called Rita.  She told me that htis girl is new and didnt now what was going on...I said Im confused..i need to tell my PCP something.  She said to get what allen wanted me to have...so I did. I got an EKG, blood work, and a chest xray.  The xray would cover my resp. clearance.  The blood was soemthing I already had done.  SSOOOO lol.. It took my PCPs office 2 freaking weeks to fax over a clearance letter.  I left this girl in allen office 3-4 messages..nothing.  I called her sup and left a message very detailed, and I told her to my cell.  She called my HOUSE, left a message and said she didnt now what I waned and to cal her back....I didnt.  I waited a week..and caled back becasue of some info from here.  I talked to this girl again..lord help me.  I told her i was checking on my clearances.  she put me on hold for about...15 min came back and said she found some blood work, a xray and an EKG saying I was cleared but she said again!! that she wanted all the things on the list.  I said look..I was told I needed to get jsut what allen wanted me to have..no more no less.  She demanded me to get everything on there..then 20 min later said she didnt have my clearance letters.  I said you just told me had them..what did they do vanish in to think air!!??  She said she never said she had them.  I said fine..im calling medicaid, and hung up.  I called them, and finally got someone who nows what they are talking about.  I told him what was going on and he laughed at her stupidity.  He said I need to get what my doctor wants me to have.  I said I was told this and got what he wanted me to have yet she is demanding me to get everything.  I then said that you guys wouldnt cover anything that wasnt needed, not just for surgery.  He agreed.  I told him that I what tests I had done, and he asked if that is what he wanted.  I said, and I can get proof.  He then said that that is all I need.  I made sure and said..ok sooo..if she were to surprise me and submit in then I would be ok..he said YES.  I about fell out of my chair lol.  I said ok..what do I now becasue of her.  HE said to call and get ahold of my nurse or ALLEN him self and tell them what was going on.  So I did!!  I talked to Rita after being on hold for 20 min becasue I told them I asnt leaving another message.  She told me that there is a kinda middleman...that just started.  I talked to this girl. SHES AWSOME!!! She told me she was sick of all this crap.  She said that she would sit and talk to Allen and aske what all I need and dont need.  She said she would call me and leave me a DETAILED message of what I need and dont need on thursday (today) afternoon.  I said..i have been doing this for 2 freaking years, ive cried for 2 hours from her doing this to me and im loosing sleep, literaly.  I said I want and need this.  She said she would personaly submit my things to the insurance once she makes sure i have my clearance Allen wants.  I thanked her and told her I loved her lol.  She said that 2 years is way to long and this girl running around is crap.  She said she would get it submited for me around this girl.  Come to find out rita told me that this girl is on the pre approval board!!! lol Her name I think is (sp) Celest.

Who is the helpful one u talked to? Everyone is gettin BS from Bridgette and she is RUDE..  ALL of my paperwork is in their hands now.  I refaxed it ALL myself.  This Bridgette even had me have all tests, papers etc even to submit into my secondary.  She said they have to aprrove before I can get a surgery date even though my primary doesnt make u get preapproval. SO. Then she tells me she doesnt know if she has all my papers yet.  Says she will call me back the same day.  Needless to say she didnt.  Then no call again today.  I left yet ANOTHER message for her and also for Reta.  NO ONE has called back. Ive done ALL the research for well over 2 to 3 years now and have been activily runnin around gettin test after test, paperwork and even changin surgeon's since January.  My patience is GONE.

yep! Her name is..celest.  I can spell it lol.  When you call...tell hem you need to talk to Rita, they will tell you they are the answering service..BS.  Tell them you will not leave another message and youve left several already with no calls back.  Tel them you will hold for her..they will get her lol.  Then tell ask Rita if there is a new girl who is named Celest.  She does Pre approvals.  She just started this week or last week.  Im telling you.  She is prob the only girl that will get the ball rolling.

I am gonna call AGAIN tomorrow anyway so I will just ask for celest then.  Tired of this exhausting dance with these ppl. lol That  Bridgette tried to tell me her boss looks over what she does and tells her when to send out letters of what to get etc.  I got 2 letters in the mail on the same day the other day that said 2 differant things.  I know now I have all the info sent it.  They just need to get the surgery date. And Im just not so sure about what she said about having to submit to my secondary too and get approval from them before anything was done.

im starting to wonder how well she knows this crap.  she told me she had my clearance in front oh her face...but 20 min later she said she didnt!! Then she goes and demands that I get all of these tests!  DEMANDS!!!  I go and call med and find out I did it the right way.  SOO.  This celest girl said she would talk to dc Allen and find things out.  Im kinda wondering if..if I had everything, if she submited it.  She was sooo good joy! Only thing that bothers me is she didnt call today when she promised me.  I dont now if i should hold off till monday to call again or call tommorow since she said she was going to talk to Allen

Call tomorrow.  If no call back, call Monday and so on and so on.  They get tired of our voices and call back.  Im sick to death of voice mail though!!!  And I know what u mean by bein put on hold.  She kept doin that to me and then started talkin outta her rear before sayin, Oh hang on again, I need ur chart.  I was like what the!

I know that feelin and my neck is all a mess now cause of stress.  Well more then usual stress. I have an appt with an Orthopedic surgeon on Nov 7th too.  My shoulder has been bad for years but suddenly got worse.  Nw my stregth in it is fading and the pain is worse.  Thinkin torn rotator cuff. which most likely will need surgery.  Extra surgery? So YESSSSSSSS I am moodyyyyyy.! lol

GEEZ!! im sorry   hun I have a bad shoulder also..been there lol Hey, I did call today and she said that I need a H pylori Blood test.  I had one in 05' but it should elevated so I was put on some meds for 3 months.  He told me that once i take it, then I would be ok.  I stil have problems with my stomach..like it hurting. and I have relux and GERD.  Im hoping it will be ok.  So she asked me to refax over my clearance becasue she said they never got it.  So I called my PCP and had then re fax it around 2.  I called them around 3 and found out that they didnt get it.  SO I was back and forth from 9am- till 5pm.  I called again at 445 and they checked with Bridgette and she CLAIMS they didnt get it.  Im so sick on her!! I have a feeling, she is getting it but is thorwing it away.  I now for a fact my PCP faxed it 2 times, and both time didnt get it.  If they dont get it, monday, Im going over to my PCP and getting a copy, and I MAILING IT!!! I dont trust this bridgette girl.  Its a gut feeling I have Joy.  I even told Tracy  that i dont trush her.  So I wil call again monday, talk to Celese and personaly tell her my PCP has faxed it 2 times, and both times bridgett knew I was.  Im telling that I want her herself to give me the offices address so I can mail it.  I will not fax it again.  It will be address to celese and if bridgett opens it so help me god... lol yes im pissed off!! the only thing holding me back is this freakin fax and the blood test which I wil get monday im sure. 

I called this morning and asked for Celese.  She picked up and we talked while she searched through my chart to see if anything was missing.  She checked off everything she came across and when she was done she said. well everything u need is in here so I dont understand what the deal is and NOOOOOOOOO u DIDNT need that 6 months of weights that I had been told I needed.  She said since Medicaid is my secondary that they would have to call to get proof of coverage for surgery etc which she didnt think she would hear bac****il next week.  Medicare if my primary and they dont require any p[reapprovals.  Well she got off the phone with me and said she was makin that call the Medicaid right then.  Soon after I left this morning to run errands she had called back and left a message on my machine tellin me she called it into Medicaid.  Then my machine went on to the second message that was on it.  It was her again lettin me know Medicaid done called her back and everything was approved!

She said I should hear from Reta next week with my date and all that!  So I HOPE she calls quick.  Im not sure if they are open Monday.
