Of all the stupid things.........
As some or you know I finally turned in all my paperwork this past friday. I thought I was so thorough I did all the pre-op tests and got all the requirements out of the way so I would be ready to go as soon as they called me. I even told the lady at the desk that I had everything with the exception of the cardiologist clearance.
So today I get a letter in the mail from the bariatric center and guess what I forgot to put in my paperwork? A front and back copy of my insurance card!!! LOL
So much for being thorough...hehehe I called them and ask if I could fax it in and they said yes so I already went ahead and faxed it.
Have a great day!

When I was going for my consult with Dr. Shina.....the only thing I had left to get was a copy of my insurance card. That morning, when we got to the drs. office, there was another office already open, and I went in and asked if they could please make me a copy, and the lady at the desk graciously made one for me, and wished me the best of luck in having my surgery. I thought that was very nice and sweet of her to do that.
At least your dr. let you fax that in! LOL Now it is all about the waiting!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Yeah and I hate the waiting part...lol I was surprised to have gotten that letter in the mail because I just turned the stuff in on Friday. My thoughts are when someone tells you its going to take several weeks to get through something or other that makes you have to wait, is that they sit on it most of the time and then complete it at the last minute.
My doctor's office does this, I waited 4 weeks for my medical records and when I went to pick them up they were just then copying them.
So I guess this means they truly do get to work on it right away and maybe it won't take so long. I'm so excited, I just cannot wait for this to happen!
