psych and nutrition eval
Sorry it has taken so long to get back with you but i have been out of town and am dealing with a sick father. To me the waiting was mentally the hardest thing! To me, everything hinged on the answer from the insurance company! They had the rest of my life in their hands and would decide my fate!
After surgery has been difficult in a different way. I havent been able to eat or drink enough at all. The actual surgery wasnt bad, I had very minimal pain and moved around fairly well. I went back to work at 2 weeks post op and i am a registered nurse and havent missed a day since! I Would do it all again in a second! I also want to say that the 49 lbs gone and i dont hurt in my joints like before and my breathing is sooo much better and my energy level has increased. I told my doctor at our 5 week visit that if i didnt lose any more weight and could feel as good as i do now, even then would the surgery still be worth it!!!
Good luck to you! Keep us updated please. and any questions you may have just ask!
