I'm Home!

Well, I made it home yesterday afternoon. Everything went well. Doc said all went fine and that I should be up and about in no time. Luckily they did NOT have to do it open, which was a real concern of the Drs. They did it Lap and it was not to bad at all.  I am fine as long as I do not laugh, (sneeze or cough) which is SOOO hard for me. Monday evening I had just used my morphine pump for the first time, and some of my relatives came in. My husband was reassuring them that I was OK. Earlier in the day the Dr had told us that the reason for my pain and heavy periods was that my uterus looked "boggy". In his haste to let my family know I was OK he promptly informed them that the Doc had said my uterus was SAGGY. I had just taken a sip of water and immediately shot it out my nose. Thank God for Morphine! I was so tickled at him. I only had to stay in the hospital one evening. Other than being sore everything seems to be going well! Thanks to all of you for your well wishes and prayers!

Glad to hear you are doing so well after your surgery.  I had a total hysterectomy when I was 30, it was a lot different back then. Take care and soon you will be filling great.
