my scales show nothing lost since surgery, i got discouraged and i have been eatting whatever i want. i realize i use carbs as my comfort food and crutch. working on the mind part is tough. i joined the ymca and i have been working out regularly for two weeks now. i have only had one fill so far , i go back today for the next fill. i am so ashamed the scale has not moved when i go to the dr. is this struggle normal for some . yet i hear so many say i have only lost 65 pound in 6 mos. oh oh i am so worried.   well i dont feel ther is nothing to worry about at least they have begun to lose.

I'm not sure how much help I will be for you if any but I will certainly try. First things first... throw the scale away. I know its easier said than done but in all honesty its the best thing to do. Secondly... get back on track. I think you are on liquids after a fill....that should help. Pitch the carbs and when you are wanting comfort foods and things you shouldnt have, try to occupy your time differently... read a book ( I still do this and its a huge help) If you are crafty... do something with that and even if you arent... then try one out. Another thing... when you feel the need to snack... grab some water and drink... most of the time people think they are hungry and really they are needing fluids.  I really hope this helps... there are a few banders on this board that might be of more help. Please dont get discouraged! Sarah
