gastric bypass ulcers

I am 4 days shy of being 1 month post-op from lap RNY.  I had an EGD a week ago & found out that I have an ulcer right before my pouch...ouch and ugh!!  It is extremely hard to get in my water and protein.  NEED HELP!!!   (if you don't like to post, please feel free to email me)

I feel your pain. I was diagnosed today and I am 6 months out. My Dr perscribed this wonderful powder you mix with 2 tbs of water and drink. I was out of pain in seconds and have not had a pain since noon yesterday when he gave me the medicine to Try. An ulcer is not the end of the world but very painful. Has your Dr given you meds and pain medicine?

My Doc gave me liquid Carafate and Prevacid solutab ... they work ok.   I know its not the end of the world but very discouraging and painful ... I know this too shall pass!  thank you
