question

like ive said before-- im down 209 lbs so far and i get these burning pains like under my arms and belly from time to time?? is it the extra skin from  dropping weight so much so fast??- i will be asking my doc when i see him-- just wanted to ask if anyone else has them?? oh and the pain is only when im like sitting or start to stand up?? i was thinkin im pinching myself??lol

Hi, haven't had those pains. But I just wan't to say hi being as we have the same doctor and all and live relatively close. I live in Elizabethtown, nice to meet other people on here who have had WLS.    my name by the way is Michelle. Hope the pain goes away.

Hi Marty, Can I just say how amazingly fantastic you look??!!  WOW!  Congrats to you on the 209lbs! As for the burning pain....I don't know!  I don't have that....but my first thought is exactly what you said....it's the extra skin and it's pulling.  

I second what Chris said, you look freaking awesome!!!!  It might just be the extra skin. I haven't had any burning pains, but I am definitely starting to feel the extra skin-bring-me-down thing. I've been having some serious back pains, along with my sciatica giving me grief.  Definitely ask your doc about it. I don't have much to offer, just wanted to send ya a hello!  Dee

Might be your golden ticket to getting your plastics covered by insurance.  congrats on the loss so far. You are doing great.

went by my docs office yesterday but he or his nurse wasnt in so no info on the burning pains but did make a app. date for the 26th- the lady in the office said it was prolly the extra skin , she asked how long ive been post op and i told her itll be 8 months on the 19th and she said WOW lol--THANKS for the comments--on the extra skin being removed IM SCARED TO DEATH the last time i was in the docs office there were 5-6 ladies talking about it and they ALL said it was PAINFULL and i hate pain lol none said a good word about it so its got me scared BUT ive been told id drop another 40 lbs from having it done  and i gotta wait like another 12 months or so to even have it done???????????????????????
