Help
Hi Darlene............i was gonna tell you that at 3 mo i could eat 1/2 cup of food. I would eat 3 meals and 2 snacks. I will be 2yrs out in Oct and in May i had a upper gi and a scope test and my pouch was about the size of a golf ball and i eat 1 cup of food or a little more at times. You can ask your doc but i think you should not worry about Stretching to much as long as youre losing and are getting in you're protein, you will be fine. I hit plateus all the time the first yr. I remember when i started eating more i thought the same thing. So i called my doc and he said this surgery was not meant for us to eat like rabbits. That we would just eat less. When you go to the doc always ask about your concerns. But thats about all i can offer,i have meet my goal and 30lbs below what i sat for myself. You will succeed..........................Take care..

Hi Darlene,
Only your doctor can tell you if you've stretched the pouch. But you know....I remember being able to eat more at about the same stage you're at. It all comes down to still measuring out food and following the eating plan your surgeon has given you. I know it's hard....this surgery is so much more mental than it has ever been physically challenging for me.
Definitely tell you surgeon your worries and ask him what you need to do. Maybe seeing your nutritionist would help?
Take care!

Always remember we are new to this life change. Measure your foods. At times I look at my plate and realize that I put too much on my plate and when my pouch says I am full I stop. I usually eat about 4 oz of meat or protien and if I can taken in some veggies I do. Remember to exercise and get in yor protien. I am currently 6 onths out and down 86 pounds. I have also been very frustrated by stalls in my weight loss but it comes off if you do not get crazy about the scale.
Goos luck.
