It been Hell.  We burried my dad today.  Lovely service.  I just wanted to go to bed.  I wanted to thank everyone for their support.  Now tomorrow we are having an old fashion grill out.  Just a fun day, we all need it.  Thanks again Jane

Oh, my heart aches for you all. Enjoy the company around you at your cookout, and cherish your memories. :) They will get you through.

ahhh Jane, I am so sorry about the loss of your father.  I lost mine in March and it still hurts.  They are so much a part of our lives it isn't easy when they go.  They leave us with such wonderful memories..always think of those when you want to see him, he will be there... Brenda

Thanks Brenda.  It's all just been a blur.  Have to much to do to think about what has happened. Whats hard is seeing my girls upset.  Today really hit hard.  We called him every morning.  Today was Jill's turn.  She cried and cried.   Jane

Sounds great.  Riding a horse is the only thing left on my to do list.  Would love to try.

PS when is the September Aniversary get together?  Is there anything planned

Jane, the anniversary party is the 21st..they should be sending out invitations pretty soon...I think... My mom hasn't been feeling well lately..yesterday she backed out of going to my daughters for a cookout so I knew something wasn't right..today I went to visit her and she could barely breath..I drug her kicking and screaming to the doc..within 10 mins he called an ambulance..he felt she was in congestive heart failure..the hospital has pretty much confirmed it..they admitted her.  I came home to get a few hours of rest, I work at that hospital two days a week tomorrow is my 12 hr. shift..at least I know the docs and the staff taking care of her. we will see how well she does then we can make plans for the get together at my house.
