I just recently transfered from another Bariatric Center to SJE (St. Joe's East) of Lexington.  I spent 7 months at the first place and had a lot of tests done so I got my records from them. Anyone that is looking for a good place, I would recommend SJE. They got me into the first appt. 3 days after I attended the seminar. Then set me up with pre-op tests the next day which was today.  I am just amazed at how fast they work. I plan to choose Dr. J. Steiner as my surgeon.  I will keep you posted on my progress. Thank You for taking the time to read this. Judy

I have just had my surgery on 8/21/07 with Dr. Steiner!  I really liked him.  He did an amazing job with me.  I had very little pain with my surgery.  You will love him but remember that I am his "superstar" ...lol.

No, I'm his superstar!!  Just kidding.   He's wonderful.  My husband was totally against the surgery until he met Dr. Steiner.  They found out that they used to haunt the same old restaurant (since closed) in Morehead when he did some kind of residency here.  He's very easy to talk to and has a great bedside manner.  Good luck.  Lorrie

hi  judy.......did u have to pay  any  program  fees   up front?

Redbone-- No fee at the seminar but the program fee is $250.00 and it is broken up into two different visits. I paid $125. at the first visit on thurs. of this week.  Why do you  ask ?  I'm just curious

It is 500.00 at Georgetown Hospital!

Yes I know that as that's where I was rejected. My angel was looking over me b/c it's half the price at SJE. Wish I would have known all that I know now before I started at GT. Oh Well, live and learn. Judy
