protein bullets

what are protein bullets and where do I find them? I am planning on having surgery in the near future, went for my last nutrition meeting today. also does anyone have any suggestions on what is the best tasting protein drinks? thanks in advance for any information!!

Hello there.. Protein Bullets are basically like "shots" of protein.. They are like 3 oz of liquid that will give you 42g of protein. You can order them for pretty cheap. If you are looking for something cheap but still good and will "get the job done" lol try checking at walmart for the body fortress whey protein it comes in chocolate and vanilla they're pretty tasty.. They also have the EAS protein there it's not so tasty but okay. Make sure you sample anything before you spend all that money on it. I see your'e from Salyersville.. thanks for the update, I got some of the eas in strawberry yesterday and am going to try it out today. also over at grandview I got a big jug of procomplex, I need to try it,lol.     Have you tried the unjury? they say it is the best, I just don't like the idea of having to order it. thanks again. I like the Unflavored unjury mixed with Sugar free carnantion instant breakfast and milk.  That is what my nutritionist suggested to use after surgery.  The unjury started getting expensive, so I switched to Body Fortress Whey Protein that you can get at WalMart, Kroger, Target, etc.  It comes in Chocolate and Vanilla and it tastes great.  I believe it has 21 grams of protein before you add milk (if that is what you mix it with).   My nutritionist and surgeon do not recommend the protein shots or bullets as a source of protein.  The protein that they provide are not a good source of protein.  You want to find products that have whey protein isolate instead of whey protein concentrate or other forms of protein.  When you get to the point where you can eat food, you want to try and eat all your protein instead of drinking the shakes.  Hope this helps and Good luck with everything! ~Sara

thank you to everyone that responded to my question, I tried the eas strawberry today, reminded me of slim fast, it is something I can handle, but that unjury sounds better, but like someone said it is expensive. thanks everyone so much!!
