Blood thinner injections?

Ok today I received my surgery packet and it had a prescription for blood thinner injection medicine! How long do I have to do this after surgery and does it hurt lol?

I had blood thinners only while in Hospt stay then they stopped ,but your dr might be diff,no they dnt hurt just makes a bruse on your tummy

 I am having my surgery on the 21st and the only injections i will be getting is while i am in the  hospital.  Every place is different.... you'll do fine

Dr. Shina prescribed 10 days worth of supplements for me ... I think that's the standard deal. They do sting a little bit, but they're really not bad.  The anticipation of the needle poking is worse than the pain itself.

i think i remember him saying 10 days.  i have also heard of other doctors with this same protocol.  How long did it take you to get scheduled from the date of your insurance approval?

I got my approval last friday and the date in the same phone call, I got a confirmed answer and date Monday morning! 10 days worth of shots lol I know most dont hurt its just the thought !

Hi there,    Yes it is 10 days just finished my last one Tuesday ,,,,yipee!!  They are not bad at all.
