Self pay options?

Help!!! I'd like to hear from anyone in KY who has self payed for their surgery. I work for a large corporation that is self insured and will not approve weightloss surgeries even after several appeals so now I am looking into self pay options. I've looked several places on the OH site and can't find any options that are available in KY or even IN, OH or TN. I'm willing to travel to nearby states just not to Mexico!!! Which is where I keep seeing ads for "affordable" weight loss surgery.  Thanks to anyone can provide in info!!! Kathy

Sorry I cant offer any help on where to go for self pay.  I would guess most surgeons etc will do it if u have the cash.  One thing to think about though...  When it comes to a surgery you have to weigh the bad sides too.  Be prepared for the what iff's etc incase somethin goes wrong and you have to have extra surgery and or ICU etc.  It is expensive enough but if any complications arise the price does also.  The surgeon at a seminar I went to talked about it some when it comes to "self pay"  Just somethin to think about....
