16 DAYS and a Question

Only 16 days untill my surgery. I am so excited. I have a question. I know I have the 2 day bowel prep, but am I supposed to do anything else as far as cutting back on food. I was going to take my daughter to Dollywood or Disney world next week before the surgery. So I am not sure about my eating. Cause I want to eat all that I can before my surgery. LOL

Cynthia my doctor just asked that we eat light the last day or so. He didn't require the bowel prep. But each surgeon is different, so call yours and ask them if it is okay.

You will wanna call Dr Shina's office Monday to make sure.  I know when I went to the seminar and met him he said he didnt want us to have any carbs whats so ever either 1 or 2 weeks (cant remember which) before surgery because of the whole fatty liver thing.

I did not have bowel prep either thank God ,but I ate so much the day before I could not move  really had my last supper as you will call it lol.in my support group we always ask the person having surgery to eat our fav food so if you will eat a piece of PEACAN pie for me lol have a good one

I was really bad and did the "resturaunt tour" before my surgery but the last 3-4 days I stuck to what my md wanted. I think I would have regretted not eating my favorite foods one last time.
