Hi :) Thanks for the welcome.  My family and I have only been here since June....finally got the house somewhat unpacked and the boys are in school.  As a military wife I should be used to moving....but it doesn't get any easier with experience :(  Getting to know new people is hard....especially when you are new to the area.  If you want to chat or have lunch feel free to give me a ring ;)  Thanks.

Your welcome on the welcome lol. I know how you feel about the moving and trying to pack and unpack my ex was in the army. I am almost glad I do not have to go thru that anymore. But I guess you get used to it over time and your right it never gets any easier. Anyhow lunch and/or chatting sounds good to me. I'll give you a hollar later on this week sometime .  Oh yeah I read your post reply below, Crestwood is on the otherside of Lville! Elizabethtown is about 10 miles from here. Bardstown a bit further it's on down the road from Etown about 30 miles or so! It's nice too see so many people welcome you, this board is full of great people. Take care for now. Talk to ya soon.

Welcome Cathy! I live in Etown, not too far from Vine Grove. Not sure on support groups. There is one in Etown. I believe its the last Wed of each month, its right across from Etown Animal Hospital. I'll ask my friend Melissa about it, she goes and knows the details.  One of my newest neighbors is stationed at Ft Knox also. They moved up here from Texas about 6 months ago. They seem like great ppl and I hope he'll be at Ft Knox for a while. I know she's homesick for Texas though. Welcome to Ky! If u want, feel free to add me as one of your friends. I feel that u can never have too many and we all need to support one another whether we're preop, post o*****n op.  Hugs Angela

Welcome Cathy to Ky. I am about 30 minutes from you here in Bardstown. I attend two support groups in Louisville. The first one is the Norton Suburban support group meets on the 4th Thursday of each month and the second is an informal group that meets the second Thursday of the month where we support eachother on a more personal level. You are welcome to join me and the bunch at both. If you need anything at all please feel free to contact me anytime. Katherine

Hi Katherine,

Not sure where Bardstown is....but I have heard of it :)  What time does the support groups start?  I would like to become active in a support group since I have fallen by the wayside since our  move back to the states after 5 years in Germany.  Feel free to give me a ring anytime :) Cathy

I am in Crestwood, north of Louisvlle,  I stay mostly on the RNY board, it is fast moving and has lots of support.  I come to the ky board and have found lots of great people here, it just moves kind of slow
