what is the phycologist   eval................all about

Don't sweat it!!!! Basically they just want to make sure that you currently do not have some form of  eating disorder.  And also you can handle the changes you are going to undergo.  The surgery is a huge physical change but alot goes on mentally.  The mental part for me has been difficult with the new me.  Its not a big deal.  My psyc. evaluation was a long list of questions with a yes or no answer.  It took about an hour.  Then I had to meet with her again after the surgery.  I don't know what your pre op will include but really don't worry about it. yes it is so easy I was scared to death lol but the main thing mine wanted to know if I had support & alot of it that was import to her
