I am looking for support. August 1 will be 5 months post op rny. To date I have lost 72 pounds. By my previous attempts at weight loss this is terrific. I have noticed however that the weight is coming off much slower. I want to make sure I reach my goals. I slip into a size 18 and some 16 and feel great but I want to reach my goals and continue on this journey. Any comments or suggestions are all welcome. You guys are a wonderful source of encouragement to me. I lobve reading your blogs. Donna

Congrats on the weight loss so far. Just get moving more. That seems to be the key for me. Moving and making sure that I actually eat enough! If I don't eat enough and get in the liquids, I will not only NOT lose anything but I have seen the scale go up a pound or two.  When I make sure I get close to1000 calories a day and at 80-100 liquids I see a gradual continual loss. Add an hour or two of gym time each day and I see 2+ lbs a week.  The hard part is doing it. There are days when I can drink all day long and others that just a swallow or two seem to be all that I can handle.  Food is the same way. Some days I can handle a sandwich alone and others I can't eat half of it.  I started at 370. Today I am at 202....heading for a goal of 170

Thank you so much, It is great to hear that I am doig the right stuff, and if I dont what happens. I just came back from two weeks of Vacation and lost a total of 3.5 poinds. What I realized is I walked alot  and did not eat alot and  it all worked together.  Please keep me posted on your wonderful success story also. Donna
