I regret going to nashville instead of L'ville for lap band

I wish that I had my lap band surgery done in louisville instead of nashville.  My surgery was 8 and 1/2 hours long and I am tired and fatigued.  To top it off....I haven't lost any weight.  Can anyone help me as to why I haven't lost weight yet?   At Centennial, you aren't allowed any carbs.  Could this be the reason I haven't lost??  I am 15 days out of surgery.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your surgery was 8 and 1/2 hours long?  And for lap band?  I had been told lapband took at the max a hour or so... As for when or why u arent losing.  I dont know.  I am pre/op for bypass.  But 15 days with a lapband isnt long.  Plus u havent had any fills yet.  Your band stiches are probably still healing.

brenda just be patient, you will lose.  I had lap band in June and have lost 21 lb.  When I came home from the hospital I had gained 10 lbs.  I stood on the scales and cried, but I lost it in a few days and realized it was water.  It will take about 5 to 6 weeks for your stomach to heal, give it time, follow your drs instructions, you will lose.  I know you want to wake up tomorrow skinny but we have to work for it.  Keep me informed of your progress.  char

I had a lap band on June 18 by Dr.Allen (he's the best) I have lost a total of 29 lbs. I have my first fill on August 2  I feel better than I have in 10 years. My surgery only took 45 mins. I had muscles that hurt more than that did. maybe you need to ask if someone in Louisville can take care of you now. Call the Dr's and ask. Good luck on the up coming lost for you.

I have heard WONDERFUL things about Dr. Allen.  I would really love to go to him for aftercare.  However, I have already paid everthing in full to Nashville.  I don't know.  I am going to take it day by day and we'll see what happens. P.S.  Still no weight loss.
