Anyone go see Harry Potter 5 today? I can't go see it till Sat. I promised my son I'd wait until he gets up here this weekend. We always go see the Harry Potters together. Kind of like a mom, stepson type thing. This time we're dragging dad along, lil sis wants to go, a uncle or 2 and one of my son's buddys. How was it? I'm not expecting big things. I'm more of a fan of the books. I like the movies, don't get me wrong, they just can't put everything thats in the books into the movies. The 5th book is one of the best ones so far, I hope the movie's pretty good too. My husband doesn't read the books and neither does our son, he used too, but the 5th was too long.  I usually have to tell them the parts that the movies leave out. Oh well, the 4th was good. If ya saw, let me know how it was. I'm excited about going Sat. I also can't wait until next Friday night at midnight, I'm running out to Walmart to buy the 7th Harry Potter book. I just reread them all so I'm all prepared and ready.  Hugs Ange

WE saw it! It was awesome!! Although they couldn't fit in all the details I was very happy - just how I imagined it to look. The stars are getting taller! I enjoyed the book much more but the movie doesn't disappoint. My husband hates HP and refuses to read it but he really enjoyed the movie. Have a great time - oh, it every show that night sold out - you may want to prebuy tickets and get there early!!!

I'll probably buy our tickets tomorrow. My stepson isn't coming till next weekend. So my daughter and I are going Sat then again with her brother next week.  She loves them all so far so I hope its not too scary for her. She liked the 4th one and it was a little darker than the others.

Loved it! Of course I didn't expect it to be exactly like the book so I wasn't disappointed. I bawled like a big baby of course. My hubby went out of town yesterday and we're going to go back and see it again one day next week for our "Date Night". He was asking me questions earlier when he called and I was like, nope u gotta see it. They really portrayed the relationship between Harry and Siris well. That just broke my heart even though I was expecting it, the 6th will be even worse when they bring it out. My son even cried, course he cried in the 4th movie when Cedric Diggory died. I thought Dudley had grown up so much. Of course we didn't see him in the 4th movie. It took me a min to realize it was the same boy. It was great. We got there early, my son stood in line for 10 mins, got the tickets, we went in, got some popcorn, diet pepsi for me lol, and sat down to wait 30 mins till it started. It was great. Can't wait to get the DVD.
