A "?" for Dr. Wheeler's patients
~A question for all the patients of Dr. Wheeler of Ashland, KY/KDMC:
While surfing the main message board, I came across a question concerning whether or not a was required to bring their CPAP to the hospital? Does Dr. Wheeler require this? I was diagnosed with MILD sleep apnea, haven't bought the machine yet because trying to save money and never had any problem until I gained my last 60 pounds. If anyone has any info on this question, please reply...Thanks!!
Hi,
I just had surgery with Dr. Wheeler 8 days ago, and I took my own c-pap machine, they said they would have one for me, but I have been using my own for 13 years and I am used to it, didn't want to take any chance that their's wouldn't fit or feel right. You sure did choose a great Doctor and hospital! The nurses and staff were so kind to me, they want you to tell them if you have a problem with any thing, but I didn't. As soon as you use your call light, they answer it. My surgery was 45 minutes! I had roux-en-y by-pass. You will be in great hands, good luck with your surgery.
