Good morning everyone! Our insurance changed the first of this year from Great West Healthcare PPO to Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. Great West paid for my gastric bypass, panniculectomy/hernia repair and I'm curious if any of u out there that might have Blue Cross Blue Shield know where they stand on the whole plastics issue? Since my panni I don't have the skin folds on my tummy anymore or the rashes that went with that. I do want my inner thighs, hips, arms and of course boobs done. If I can't get any of that covered with Blue Cross I'll probably look at financing it cause I am going to do it, it would be nice if they would pay for some of it though, lol. Thanks for any input. Angela, Go to www.anthem.com Enter Kentucky's site Click on provider Scroll down to where you see Medical Policies Scroll down and click continue That will take you to a page where you can search all the medical policies you are looking for. Hope that helps! Catherine Birdwhistell Insurance Coordinator The Bariatric Center @ GCH [email protected]

Thank u Catherine, I will do that. Is not too important if they cover any of the plastics, but it sure would be nice. Thanks again.
