I got my filter today!

Hi everyone and thanks so much for the special prayers and nice words, I needed them! I went to KDMC today and got my vena cava filter put in, to prevent bloodclots from going to my heart and lungs, it really wasn't that bad, I just had to wait a while and got nervous, but when Jan the IV nurse came in and started my IV, I was so happy! She did not hurt me at all, I am such a baby when it comes to IV's, she said that she said a prayer for all of her IV's and the people who was getting them, and I told her , her prayers were answered! So after that they gave me some medicine in my IV to relax me and that helped, so every thing went great today, now I hope I will have a great day on Thursday, please keep me in your prayers! I am getting there slowly! Leatha
