Records of Diabetes checks.

My ins. may require a copy of all my diabetic finger sticks for one year back to help with approval. I have no way to get all of those in such a short time. Any suggestions?????????

WOW! That is a BS requirement for bs! Your A1C's for the past year should be sufficient. I have never heard of this requirement before. Most digital meters will record your readings. just start writing them down and let it cycle back to the beginning until you get a years worth. Who provides your diabetic care? And what has Dr Wheeler said of this bs requirement? Either dr might know a way around this BS bs requirement.

I thought so too. They didn't say it was required but may be. The exclusion my ins has is this: Treatment of obesity, including dietary control or weight reduction programs where such obesity is NOT caused by an organ condition. Sounds like it could be approved if submitted right. What do you think? I am praying it is approved. Thanks for your reply. Trena
