I have a surgery date !!!!!

I scheduled my RNY, for December 29th, 2006. I am so scared, but extremely excited. My insurance was really quick!!!! I am new here at this board, so I hoping to make some new friends. All your stories are so inspirational. Dr. Steiner will be doing my surgery. I am a big ball of emotions!!!!!!!!!!!!

My girlfriend Terri was Dr. Steiner's 1st RNY in KY. 3+ years later, another girlfriend had him for RNY and mentioned that she was a friend of Terri and asked if he remembered her. Not only did he remember her, he quoted the date of her surgery and said she had not been in for her last checkup and he'd be tracking her down at the hospital when she came to visit. They both LOVE him. You're in excellent hands. Congratulations! Susan

Hey Miranda, we need to be buddies. Steiner is doing mine the day before yours. we'll be in the hospital together. I've only heard great things about him and the program in general. I'm so excited and I'm sure the closer it gets more nervous too. I'm from Morehead. I'm 5' 1" and 242 lbs. I'm hoping that by my 40th birthday in June that I'll look a lot different.
