Having Surgery!!!!!

Well, I had another EGD last Friday to see if my ulcers were healing and why I was in so much pain. The ulcers have gotten worse and Dr. Geller doesn't thing they will get better without surgery. I am scheduled for surgery this Wednesday at 11:00. I am a little nervous. I have never had surgery until this year and now I am going to have my third in 8 months. I know that I am in great hand with Dr. Geller, but the idea of surgery scares me, but I can not go on with this pain. I have always had a high threshold for pain, but sometimes the pain was so intense I couldn't breath and was doubled over. I have a wonderful daughter and I need to get back to being a mother to her. These past four months dealing with the ulcers has worn me out both mentally and physically. I want to be able to enjoy the Christmas holidays. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Hi Ana,im sorry for your pain,I have had multiple sugeries since my wls and it was pretty bad this time, i am recovering but every time i go under the Knife it takes so much out of me. I am really tired but you it will get better. I just got off a liquid diet for 2 mo and i am having a hard time adjusting to food again,its like wls all over. I went to church this morining and ask for me to be home for christmas,this has worried my daughter so much.You will be in my prayers ok,take care and if ya need anything email me ok.................vickie
