Hi everyone. I'm new here. Love what I've read so far. I am having Lap Band soon. Got insurance approval three days ago. No surgery date yet. Have pre-op teaching on Tuesday. Both excited and nervous.

Hello Loretta and welcome to the board. I had lap band 2 weeks ago. It has been a pretty good experience so far. I'll be happy when I get to eat something other than full liquids. Its a life changing decision. Good luck! If you need anything or have any questions, this is the place to ask em.

Hi Loretta and Welcome. You will find lots of support on this board. If you have any questions, concerns or opinions drop in anytime. It was through this site that I found my surgeon and since then both my sisters and my niece have had surgery. All within a year. Good luck and let us know when you get your date. Jane

Hi Loretta and Welcome!! I am almost 2 months post op from having RNY done and loving life. Everyone here you will find are all wonderful people. We arelike a nice loving family that hardly ever sees eachother lol. Good luck with everythign you will not regret it. Least I don't.
