My holiday is over!

My extended holiday is over... I go back to work tonight after 2 1/2 days off lol. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving... I did really well with the food... I mostly had turkey which happens to be one of my favs anyway.. I attempted to make a sf strawberry cheesecake but it was to sweet and rich for me... Now who is ready for Christmas??? I know im not.. yet anyway lol

Sarah, I read your profile today. Thought I should since your were so sweet to fix my picture. How on earth do you have time to take care of 4 kids, work, and provide so much support to OH? Please, please share your secret - I caught on to the no sleeping but that's one thing I'm not giving up - LOL. Any other secrets? Plus your weight loss was/is phenomenal - do you have any secrets to provide us in that regard? Also, it's totally cool that your Mom and other family members have had WLS - what a great support group you all must have and thank you all so much for contributing like you do these boards. I don't see any superhero icons on this page or I would send you one. Have a good night rest, you deserve it!

Well lol I actually get more sleep now than I did before surgery... I usually only get on here when im at work or when the kids are sleeping. Sometimes I get on during the day when my younger 2 are napping and the older 2 are in school. I should probably be cleaning windows and dusting but this is more fun than that lol. As far as the weight loss goes... I am very compliant and I like to shop for new things... As i get closer to my husbands size i have more motivation to do things. My health issues I had pre op are gone now and thats a huge help to me. lol I'm not sleeping im working! well kinda lol have a great night Sarah

Hey u, have a great night at work. We had a good holiday. I've got the kids Santa shopping done and some of the familys. I think I will finish up next week. We told Allison we had to go pay Santa so she sat somewhere with Adams dad and Adam and I got their stuff. Then I hid it in the truck and now it resides in our closet. I'm glad I've got them done. Adam is the hardest to shop for. Last year we just decided to go shopping together and set a spending limit on both of us, we pick out what we each want, I then wrap it and put it under the tree. I love Cheesecake. I'm thinking about making one for Christmas. Take care. I've got a sinus cold, I haven't been on much lately. Hugs and night Ange

I'm glad I'm almost done too. Its been nuts with him being off work. He gets 66% of his net pay each week and then lost wages from my insurance co every 3 weeks. Thats one reason I wanted to get it all done the first of the month. That way I can start saving up for Jan 1st's bills again. I just wanted to get Christmas out of the way, lol, well the buying part. I found Allison a V Smile game machine u plug into the TV like a gamecube or something. It teaches them numbers, letters, phonics, etc. I got her a Pooh Bear game and Care Bear game. She's always wanting to play with her brothers gameboy or gamecube when he's playing so she should enjoy it. It was on sale from $90 down to $30. That was a heck of a deal. Couldn't pass that up. It was worth it to go out Friday. Well we went late Friday afternoon. I hope I feel better too. Its mostly alot of sinus pressure and headaches. Any good recommendations on sinus meds without going to the doc?

Mucinex D and Tylenol!! And, Vitamin C drops!!! Works like a charm for me. And if your stopped up, just chew up some altoid mints -- that will open you up right away! Hugs and hope you get to feeling better soon! Sharee

I am back at work too It is boring as most Saturday nights are here. My SF Pumpkin Pies tasted great and were not rich at all. I spent Friday morning feeding my 18 month old nephew pumkin pie. He had a on his face. Most of my christmas shopping is done, just got a few things left to do. As for shopping on Black Friday heck no!!! I stayed in and chatted on YIM.

I really enjoyed my Thanksgiving...I have to admit ...I missed the pumpkin pie...I would love to have your recipe...Heck ...forget that...just make me one...LOL...Christmas Shopping...havent even started...Need to get ideas on what all the grandkids want... Amy

Guess what I want for christmas..... It sure as heck ain't my two front teeth. Hopefully my present will be given to me sometime in January. You know part Christmas present part birthday present. Are you listening Ins company? I want a WLS as my present. Nothing else I would be satisfied. Thats not asking too much is it.
