Saw Dr. Wonderful

Hi All, I just got home from seeing Dr. Tom...He is so wonderful... Anyway I am officially at 28 pounds lost forever...He said I was right on track, and that I was doing great...I told him if I could weigh butt naked(oooh...ugly thought), that I would have lost 30...LOL...He is pleased and so am I... He is such a great Doc...What he has done for my entire family is nothing short of a miracle...I am so grateful that Jane found him...and took the first leap of faith...And that the rest of us followed suit... Thanks Jane...and Thank You Dr. Tom... Amy

Amy, I just got back from seeing Dr. Tom as well! I had my history and physical for surgery that is scheduled for Monday. Funny if we'd been in the office at the same time! My appointment was at 3:15. And a BIG CONGRATS on the 28 lbs lost! How cool is that?! I hope I do as well as you and your family have done.

Hi Chris, Yes we were there at the same time...I saw Beth the nutritionist first then saw Dr. Tom...My appointment was at 3...You will do great with Dr Tom and the whole program that he has in place...You will be in my thoughts and prayers on Monday... Hey Chris, Amy is my sister so I don't need to respond to her, she already knows how proud of am of her weight loss. But I just wanted to let you know you will be in my thoughts on Monday. Enjoy Turkeyday and by next Turkey day you will be such a loser. No one will recognize you. Its amazing the difference a year makes and boy the time flies by. You know how we feel About Dr. Tom. We 3 sisters are sure getting healthy so that obesity doesn't ruin our lives. We have wonderful families and we want to live a long and healthy life. Jane, Thanks so much for thinking of me. I'll need all the moral support I can get! I'm going to be with friends for Thanksgiving and we were talking about just what you said...how different I'll look this time next year. (Some teasing about needing a smaller turkey next year because I won't be able to eat what I do now! ) I haven't been able to get on here as much as I'd like. Something about my boss not paying me to play on the internet.....what a spoil sport! But I'll definitely be on here more while I'm off work- I'm taking 5 weeks off. I don't know when I'll have an excuse to take off that long again so I'm taking off as long as I can!

How did Tiffany's appointment go today?...Her appointment was in the morning, mine was in the afternoon...Wish I could have seen her...Hope to see you both at the support meeting next week. Amy

Tiffanys appt went well , hopfuly only one more week of the nurse coming to change her bandage, shes in lil pain right now Dr.Tom cleaned and packed it pretty tite, she cant wait till the nurse comes in the morning to change it LOL! she is coming along.
