OT: Technical computer question?

Howdy, ya'll. Adam wanted me to get on here and see if some of u can assist us in this issue. We've moved our computer in the family room since Adams been off work since the accident he doesn't like me being in the office online. He wants me in here with him. Ok, the computer is moved. The dsl is working again. Everything is hooked up. Ok, the issue, its not a big deal to me, but he's wanting to know why we can't hook up our Lexmark Printer, Scanner, Copier, Fax machine on the same jack as the dsl with one of those things that has 2 hook ups? We've tried and each time we do the dsl goes off. Normally when I fax I unhook the dsl while I'm doing it and hook that end up to the fax machine. Can u hook this up together or should put in another jack for the fax machine by itself? Thanks Adam (Ange's hubby)

I would use another jack if you can.

I believe that is what he's going to end up doing when his back is feeling better.

Poor guy is already making a hunnydo list for himself huh? Tell him to rest dang it lol.
