Ok wow moments for me thus far have been...... Finding my ankles again after so many years of not seeing them, Being able to wrap my hand around my wrists and my fingers touch, Finding my hips again they are coming back, Fitting into a pair of pants that I havent been able to wear in over 2 years that were tight when I bought them. Now they are really baggy. Having my fingers look like normal fingers and not like sausage links. I know that I will have more moments but these are the ones that stand out to me right now.

My wow moments are... My husband put his hands under me to help me up in the truck (it is WAY high and USED to be difficult for me to get into). As he lifted me, I MOVED! He actually PICKED ME UP! My son was visiting and I told him I wanted to show him something. I had him stand behind me and place his hand on my hip bone. He couldn't see what he was touching and had NEVER felt MY hip bones before. He asked, "what is that?" I told him and he quickly stepped back, grinned and said he thought it was a KNOT! LOL My daughter telling me I should wear clothes that fit me because "I deserve it" after someone had commented that I was wearing clothes "just to show off my figure" now. And just today I was walking into a Chinese restaurant with my daughter and her girls, it was quite windy outside and I saw my reflection in the plate-glass window. My shirt was blown snuggly again my front side and my tummy was FLAT! I actually looked like the women I used to look at and think I wish I looked like THEM! Getting off the toilet one day and gasping as my wedding set slipped down my finger and I caught the engagement ring just before it fell off my finger and into the toilet. Scratching my back a about a week ago and felt knots down the center. Just as I was getting a little nervous wondering what those big lumps were, I realized it was the bony parts of my spine. Being able to button and zip size 6 skirt. It's too tight to wear but it fastened. My sil trying on my skirt and it was TOO TIGHT on her and LOOSE ON ME! My sister telling me she's now in size 8's and 10's. She's the one who has almost always been MUCH smaller than I. I'm in 8's and 10's right now and the 10's are quite loose on me. Those are the ones that stand out to me. Gale

Donna the Wow moments will come. The best one for me was when my daughter hugged me and said " Look mommy my hands touch." I balled my eyes out. I didn't realize she knew that they should touch. I also have had all the same Wow moments. Being able to tie my shoe and the bow wasn't on the side of my tennis shoe. Being able to jog for a mile, can't now, uterus falling out. Having my husband pick me up. Honestly I never ever can remember being picked up. The doctors saying you are at a good wt, don't lose anymore. No longer being overweight. My BMI is normal. Most of all I am not embarrassed for my girls when I go to school functions. I am no longer the fat mom, I am no longer invisible when I walk in a room. I have inspired others. That is really awesome. I am most of all Happy in my own skin.
