Surgery on the 17th...
Everything went well with the cardio catheter on Monday so the cardiologist cleared me for surgery this Friday. I'm so excited but busy trying to wrap everything up at work. I'm still trying to find a way to fit a pedicure in before going to the hospital!
Any last minute advice from those on the losing side?
Thanks, Kim
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! Girl, I had my surgery on my 27th birthday so hubby got me a pedi the day before surgery... it was WONDERFUL
As far as advice.... follow your docs instructions.... walk walk walk... protein and lots of water lol The first few days can be rough but its so worth it.
I can roll around on the floor with my kids, i can sleep in my bed again without awful pain everywhere... I have a life again and I can function.... its amazing!
Congrats again and keep us posted

Hi Kim,
Congrats on your surgery...I am only 4 weeks out so don't have a lot of advice...But I will say the first couple weeks are the toughest...But hang in there...once you start to see the scale moving, and people start telling you they can see your loss, it gets easier...As far as the beginning diet goes...As you start getting board with it...just remember it won't be long before you can advance it...Take it one day at a time....I am down to 5 more days of pureed, then can advance to real food....and I am down 28 pounds in 4 weeks...This new tool really works...Best of luck to you, and you will be in my prayers...

Get that pedicure if that is what relaxes you and makes you feel better. My feet was the last thing from my mind, probably because I never saw them. Relax make a list of things you want the family to ask the doctor. Remember chap stick. The time will fly by. Take pictures at the hospital you will be glad you did. Good luck. You will be in my thoughts. We , me and my girls, will add you to our bedtime prayers.

Hey Kim,
First, congrats on your date, yeah for you. Second, I love your pic, that duck is too cute.
You will be fine and with Dr. Tom at your side it will be the best decision you ever made. At first, your mind tells you, "what were you thinking?" but then after 4 to 6 weeks it will all be worthwhile. See ya on the losing side.
