Hey everyone. My daughter is still wide awake so I guess I'm up for few more mins. Our son James and our rotten terd Allison both have bdays next week. We have visitation with James this Sat so we're having their party then. Just a cake and ice cream thing. James will be 13 and I'm not worried about keeping him and his guest occupied, u put them in a room with the game cube, gameboys, etc and they're all happy. Allison will be 5 and her guest range in the age zone of 1 1/2-7 yrs. What games can u do with this age group? I have it on good authority thats she's getting one of those Elefun the butterfly elephant games so they'll all enjoy that, but what sort of bday party games would littler kids like? I've got the party hats, Spongebob of course, and those little things u blow on. What else do I need? Thanks and goodnight Ange No, I won't be having any of the cake and ice cream. This is my second bday of theirs that I will have gone thru since surgery. I don't crave that stuff. Maybe because I know it will make me freaking sick. That could be it. I'll have a diet soda while everyone else sucks down cake and ice cream lol.

Coloring activities work well for the younger kids. As well as, pinatas are always a big hit. They have the new ones where you pull strings to open it up v****ting it (much easier if the party is inside). The kids love scavenging for goodies. Karaoke is also a hit with daughter. We actually just had her birthday karaoke slumber party. You'll do great! Kim

I have gotten ideas from PBS Kids website. They have great things to do with kids. You might want to try and check that out.
