i just wanted to say hi and to say im new at the message board so im learning i had my sugery on oct.27 and have done great i went on the low carb hight protien diet two weeks before my sugery and have lost a total of 51pds it is the best thing i ever did for myself thanks so much for all the kindness and support i get from the st joes weight loss clinic i am so grateful for all the support i get and can get joann
Wow...thats fantastic Joann...Keep up the good work...Welcome to the Ky board...We are all just one big happy family here...and we do get crazy from time to time....4 of us are true family members...and we stir the pot from time to time...Join in the fun...

PS...the true blood family members are of course Me...two younger sisters...Jane, and the Baby Mimi...and my daughter Sarah...Mimi's surgery is monday...I am 4 weeks out...Sarah is 6 months out and Jane is 13 months out...and we are all doing great...
hiii it sounds like you have a great support group within your own blood family thanks so much for for the warm welcome i am working on my 3rd week out and doing great pleasee tell mimi she will do great we are all pulling for her where is she doing hers at i did mine in lex ky at st joes they were all lovely people and so understanding id love to stir the pot with you all any time again thanks i will chat later on ok joann

Sounds like you are doing very well. So are you ready to face your first big Holiday? Its a breeze. I am out 13mths and food no longer is what the holiday is about. Visiting with family and sharing stories is the best. This year hardly any of us will be eating. I can but I still only eat a bite or two of certain things. Anyway, welcome again. This board has a lot of support and we do get noisey at times. The 4 of us live less than 5 miles apart you would think we would use the phone or IM but this is way more fun. Plus we bring everyone else in the conversation with us.
