The scale has not moved in a week...I got on that thing this morning and I am below 200 for the first time in at least 20 years...198.....I cried...I was beginning to think that I was never going to get below 200...27 pounds gone in 4 weeks... My wound infection is also healed enough that no more nurses coming everyday...no more packing the wound...Life is soooooooooo good.... Amy

Congrats mom! you are in ONEDERLAND!!! Can I call ya Alice now lol Dont sweat it when the scale doesnt move. It is so early on... Your body is asking what the hell you did to it and it takes a bit of a break from the loss.... I know its frusterating when it doesnt move but I did the same thing just out of surgery.... get off the freaking scale..... I weigh 5 days week and I did admit to Dr. Tom that I am a scale ***** lol But on my days off I dont touch a scale. Kind of my little cheesy rule... then its really exciting when you do get back on. Try to go 1 week without weighing at all... then when you do get back on... and see a big loss its more exciting for you. Congrats again ya loser!!!

Congrats Amy!! I am glad you are doing so well. I can't trust my scale but it helps to see the needle going down lol. I am glad your wound healed well too. My bellybutton got nasty for a little while but now looks wonderful. I still have a little poofy thing on my left side that still hurts here and there but it's doing good.
