i have been on my full liquid diet for almost 2 weeks now and i am getting so burnt out by eating the same things over and over. does anyone have any ideas of what i can do different? or maybe i'll just have to suck it up until i can progress to my next stage. right now im pretty much eating my carnation instant breakfast, soup broth, strained cream soups, jello, crystal light, light yogurt, sf pudding and sf popsicles. thank you!

Sadly that's all i was able to eat myself. It felt like that stage was never gonna end but it does. I did try out a little bit of decafinated iced tea sweetned with artifical sweetner. It's a little change lol. Just do what I did and keep thinking that it will be over soon and you will be able to eat some different things. Hang in there hun.

First off, love the new picture. I have heard some mix their protein shakes in a blender with some ice and make a thick shake. I think I will like that. What about pureed cottage cheese with some peaches....??

When do you go on to pureed? As far as the stuff you are eating... sorry to say thats about it. I did go to O'Charleys and got their potato soup without the potatoes and cheese... (yes you can order it that way) and it was awesome...

I made a Weigh****chers Potao soup that was darn good. If you are interested I'll find it and copy. Amy found some good Yogurt that is made by Krogers. Carb something. Its SF and has 12 grams of protene. Has the thickness of custard. I got so burnt on eggs it wasn't funny. Just hang in there it won't be much longer. Have you tried tomato soup with unflavored unjury. That was good if you like your tomato soup creamy. jane

hey, thanks gals! the only potato soup i have tried is the campbells kind with the potatoes strained. i didn't know kroger made a yogurt with that much protein! i'll be sure to get some of that. i go for my 2 week follow up with Dr. Tom this coming Thursday, so hopefully he'll advance me on to the pureed stage, if that's how that works

I also eat (even now) dannon light and fit yogurt... loads of protein and i think 2 g of sugar... you might have to strain it but it comes in smaller containers than the kroger brand so you dont waste as much. Another thing... is blue bunny brand smoothies. Very little if any sugar (flavored with splenda) and like 15g of protein for each smoothie. The only place I have been able to find them are at walmart.
